A surprise make over can be an unforgettable experience and lasting gift that keeps on giving. Here’s one of our latest responses to one such wonderful gift.
I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to your company, Decor and You DC, for helping me deliver a surprise makeover of my master bedroom and master bathroom for my wife. Having never worked with a designer or decorator before I had no idea what to expect or where to begin but “Decor and You DC” clearly did! I could not have asked for a more talented and energetic designer & decorator than what you provided by linking me up with Ms. Crystal Cline.
Crystal arrived at my home less than 48 hours after my initial inquiry with your company and sat down with me to understand my project ideas, my time-lines, and the design style of our home. Once that was accomplished Crystal returned less than two days later with several design options. With her help, guidance, amazing talents and endless energy she created an aggressive project action plan that delivered superior results.
She created two amazing spaces that not only reflected all of my wife’s favorite things but created a warm and inviting space that I never imagined possible. From the paint selection and wall coverings, artwork and accessories, to the granite counter-top selection, window treatments and bed coverings Crystal deigned an amazing space that integrated all design features that far exceeded my expectations in terms of what was possible, especially given the five short weeks we had to get the project done before my wife returned from Europe.
I could not have been more pleased with how personalized our makeover was and how the final result mirrored our personalities. I am happy to say that my retirement gift to my wife for supporting my 30 year Air Force career was all that I imagined it could be…. Iva was absolutely surprised and completely speechless as she opened the doors to her new master bedroom and master “spa” bath having no idea what was inside. The tears told the whole story and I knew I had got it right!
Thank you for assisting me with this special project and for the talents and creativity of Crystal Cline. I could not have made this happen without a design team. Iva and I have been inspired to take on additional projects in our home as a result of this experience but won’t do it without the “Decor and You DC” team and the special talents of Crystal Cline!
