Decor&You understands that a trained professional decorator is essential to achieve a fully realized interior. And, in January 2007, Decor & You signed an agreement with Certified Interior Decorators International, which is an exclusive association for professional Certified Interior Decorators.

Certified Interior Decorators International (C.I.D.) was formed to recognize the trained Interior Decorator as a professional. As a professional association, C.I.D. is acknowledged for “raising the bar” and setting the standard in the decorating industry.

Certified Interior Decorators are set apart as proven, trained and tested professionals with earned credentials. The professional designation of C.I.D. relieves the trade sources and decorator showrooms nationwide of the need to carefully examine individuals claiming to be “decorators” thus alleviating a major problem that showrooms face on a daily basis. The earned C.I.D. credentials also provide the consumer added confidence in the selection process.

C.I.D. members are professional decorators. And, consumers are responding by hiring them for their decorating needs.  Many C.I.D. professionals own interior decorating businesses, such as Decor&You, while others enjoy working from home studios either part time or full time.

Home owners and commercial business owners are seeking C.I.D. professionals because they are the “new breed” of trained and CERTIFIED INTERIOR DECORATORS. Membership in C.I.D. allows individuals to be recognized by the consumer, the trade, and wholesale showrooms as trained and tested professionals with C.I.D. designation and credentials.
