As a military spouse, Katie has spent the better part of the last twelve years raising her two little girls while living all over the United States—from California to Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest to here in the Washington, DC metro area. A native of Northern California, with a BA in American History from the University of California at Davis, Katie has discovered that the East Coast, and particularly Virginia, is where she and her family are most comfortable; now permanently settled in Northern Virginia, Katie has chosen to (finally!) pursue her passion for Interior Decoration by aligning with Decor& You as a DecorDesigner.
She is happy to bring the experiences of living in diverse locations and cultures, decorating and re-decorating for herself and many friends and family, and her passion for casually elegant, livable design to Decor&You. Katie has a legendary eye for color and a love affair with fabrics!
